Signing Bob Karp’s Nomination Petition Online

If you are a registered Democrat or Independent voter living in Arizona Legislative District 14 (Counites of Cochise, Greenlee, Graham, and Vail area of Pima) and have an Arizona driver’s license, you can sign electronically online.

Note:  Don’t worry if you are not sure if you live in the district.  The system will determine that for you automatically.

Follow these simple steps:

Go to Arizona Secretary of State’s website at https://azsos.gov/elections

Your screen should be like this

Click on the Sign A Candidate Nominating Petition button.  (I am not accepting $5 qualifying contributions so that button will not work.)

Follow the prompts through the next three screens.  (The screens are shown below so that you can make sure you are on the proper website.)

The next screen is the Voter Verification Screen where you enter your driver’s license information.

Note:  Make sure you are on https://apps.azsos.gov/apps/election/eps/petition/VoterPetnAuth.aspx

After you enter your information, the system will prompt you with a portion of your residence address.

If the address is correct.  Click on Yes.  The system now automatically finds the district you live in and all the candidates whose petitions you may sign.  A list is displayed.

Note:  The list may look different than this sample as more candidates file to run for office.  Scroll down to State Senate District 14.  If you are eligible to sign my petition, you will see my name.  Click on the link Bob Karp at the left.

The electronic version of the nomination petition is displayed.  The system requires that you enter an email address.  This email address is not shared with anybody, including my campaign, unless you check the box You may provide my email address to the candidate.

If you want to sign, click on the Yes, I want to sign this petition button.

Note:  Make sure you see the Confirmation screen which will indicate your petition has been received.

That’s it.  You’re done!  Thank you for helping me qualify for the Democratic Party primary election August 4, 2020.
